Who We Are
We are Mabinogion. Two lifelong friends chasing a childhood dream, now nearly realised.
I was born in Wales, and from the very beginning, this land, its stories, songs, and soul have shaped who I am. Ever since I first put pen to paper as a child, I’ve dreamed of creating a Welsh brand that captures the heart and magic of our country. Today, that dream stands on the edge of becoming real.
Together with my best friend from Nantgaredig Primary School (yes, really!), we’ve poured every ounce of passion into Mabinogion. We’ve spent months sourcing local Welsh printers and suppliers, ensuring that everything we make is crafted in Wales by Welsh hands as rooted in home as the myths that inspire us.
What is Mabinogion?
Mabinogion is more than a clothing brand; it’s threaded in Welsh folklore. Named after Wales’ legendary literary masterpiece, we bring ancient myths, tales, and traditions to life through contemporary fashion.
Every Mabinogion tee isn’t just clothing, it’s a story waiting to be told. Each piece features a hand-illustrated design inspired by Wales’ most famous locations and legends. We celebrate our culture by offering our designs in both Welsh and English, ensuring these stories are cherished across the world.
Why We Exist
We grew up not on tales of Peter Pan or Snoopy, but on Arthurian legends, dragons, and the Mabinogion itself, stories that taught us who we are. We want to keep that flame alive.
Our mission is to create clothing that doesn’t just look and feel incredible, but also carries the spirit of Wales, its creativity, its mythology, its heart. By blending traditional Celtic art with a modern twist, we aim to share these ancient stories with a new generation.
