In the ancient Welsh Mabinogi, the wizard Gwydion crafted a woman from blossoms to be the bride of Lleu Llaw Gyffes. She was formed from the flowers of oak, broom and meadowsweet, and named Blodeuwedd “Flower-Face”. Though born of enchantment, her story is one of love, freedom and fate, forever entwining her with the beauty and mystery of Welsh myth.
