This Christmas, we’re giving “pwy sy'n dwad dros y bryn” a cheeky twist because this year, it’s not Santa coming over the hill…it’s the Mari Lwyd, rattling her bones, jangling her bells, and bringing pure hwyl to the season.

Our design celebrates the playful side of Welsh folklore: the door-knocking, rhyme-throwing, chaos-loving winter visitor who just wants to come in for a laugh and a bit of pwnco. She’s spooky, she’s silly, and she’s one of Cymru’s most iconic festive faces.

And just like her midnight visits, this piece comes with its own little verse, because what’s Mari Lwyd without a poem?
